Im a big fan of this band, even though its very clear that scott weiland copies eddie vedder's voice in their first 2 albums

but in their 3rd naa na gyud sila ila identity..

Sell you soul and sign an autograph.. big bang baby is a crash crash crash..

yupz! totally agree..i think there are few bands out there n naa influences of STP but they just didn't made it..

true,the first two albums of STP was so hard coz of scott weiland's voice being like a copy of that of eddie vedder's, "unintentionally" i think.

during the early '90s, pearl jam and STP had they're first break, '90 and '92, respectively..pearl jam had made it through first with the help of eddie vedder's close friend, the legendary kurt cobain of nirvana..at that time, nirvana was at it's peak..luckily for pearl jam, everytime nirvana would have a concert, kurt would eventually plug the shows and albums of pearl jam..

so the 3rd album of stp came out and it all sounded new giving them they're own identity as stone temple pilots..but it was hard coz of the "incidents" during the 1st and 2nd albums..at was also hard for scott on that big change..

it could have been better for stp if pearl jam hadn't had they're first bite at the time STP is about to rise..
