HELP: Static IP address

hello istoryans...i need help regarding my connection...i've got a static IP address...is it possible to use other connections? like smart bro man akong gamit ron....nya gamitan nako ug DSL...ok ra kaha na?

sakto gyud and if you're using smartBROken i believe that you're are not on static IP since i use one before i change ISP.

smartbro bro.. di jud na static, kay mao sad na akong gamit sa balay, pero bo-ot pasabot nimo mag dual ISP ka, pwede rana jud na siya, pero palit ka ug Dual Wan router or palit ka ug lain nga router, para mo route sa connection.

ang 1st pangutana jud ani, unsa nga Static IP ang imo pasabot bro? LAN ip or WAN ip

on some network set-up each PC has a LAN ip and a WAN ip

but if you set your modem-router to bridge mode or if you have a pure DSL modem only you only have a WAN ip

usually con LAN ip it starts with 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x

for WAN ip depende saimo ISP kun asa nga subnet ka I assign

ive been using smart bro.sometimes it says statick IP pero pare i reboot mo lang PC mo or just wait a few minutes babalik rin yan.baliw ang smart bro pre..sure 100 percent solve problem mo..hehehe

static ISP? ingon sa PLDT mydsl kadtong nag apply ko for internet subscription, tanan kuno dynamic man ihatag sa subscriber. Gusto ko unta static IP pero di man kuno d i pwede.

How did you get your static ISP? How much?
