My friend has the following specs:
MSI na mobo, maximum FSB supported is 1600.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 - 2.66 GHz
2 * 2GB DDR2-800 (400Mhz * 2 = 800 MHz)
We overclocked the thing with FSB

RAM ratio 1:1 and this is what we came up.
CPU FSB = 400 MHz
CPU Multiplier = 8 (default)
so basically,
CPU is 400 * 8 = 3200 GHz
System Bus is 400 *4 (quad pump)= 1600 MHz
RAM is 800 MHz * 2 = 1600 MHz
1600 MHz = 1600 MHz, hence FSB

RAM ratio 1:1
Core temp is at 40C idle, 60C fully loaded (intel stock HSF) where northbridge temp is 60 more or less.
is there a much better way to overclock this thing other than the method we used above that would give us a much better result or is there a way to push thing thing further? My friend is considering an aftermarket cooler (i suggested the sunbeam core contact yadayada, btw

) and the zalman northbridge cooler.
As always, thank you istoryans.
