PC problem very intermittent! pls help?

Mga master! ask ko sa inyo opinion,

but heres my pc specs first.

M2N-MX SE plus
AM2 Athlon X2 4800+
2 X 1GB Kingston PC800
200GB Samsung spinpoint HDD
Windows XP Pro SP3
CPU Casing with 500W Frontier PSU (Generic)

Ok mao ni nahitabo..I got this stuff for almost 2 months already, then its tested nga wala jud problema, maski games, video etc..

But since nag install kog latest driver sa nvidia for my onboard graphic driver Geforce 6100, I found out one night ako lang gi byaan for 5 mins ug nagpa sound kog mp3 ni hang sya ang sound pag tan-aw nako total hang ug walay taskbar even mouse cursors wala jud tanan except sa display nga white unya naay stitches murag wallpaper cya pero I cant even CTRL ALT DEL, the keyboard and mouse are lighting ug dili jud nimo ma control. So, akong gi reset and its gone, intermitent kaayo ang problema, then it happen after 1 day same problem nakita jud nako ang mouse cursor nga ni hang ug ni turn white ang screen hang nasad.

for the first troubleshoot nako, I thought sa driver nako gi install nga latest coz it takes one day wala ni suol, then I reformat the PC again fresh clean OS etc.. pero ni balik man ang hang ug white blank screen, ako cya gi pasagdaan for 15-20 mins wa jud ni balik pa. nindot unta ma printscreen nako pero di jud ko kasulod balik sa windows.

Suspected fault cause:

- Mobo and the chipsets <---sa mga reviews ug maski sa forum wala kaayo post prob sa ani nga mobo. Infact the asus and nvidia said its really a good mobo and tested nvidia chipset.
- Memory & CPU <---I think dili ko kapasangil ani ako nasad ni gi diagnose ug dugay walay problema jud. My memory is good jud and processor is really performing good.
- PSU <---I have replaced the PSU to brand new psu but still generic frontier 500w
- Hard disk drive <---since this is the last item I added to my system but ako ni gi test sa dos diagnose wala man jud maski gamay problem infact bnew ni.

PSU? what is the cause what are the symptoms?
Mobo? why and what is the cause and why it get damage?
HDD? why does HDD can cause hanging problem like this?
BIOS? pwede ba sad?

Drivers issue dili nako kapasangil coz maski sa new or cd driver still the problem exist. It happen 2X pa karon and I dont know unsa jud ni coz ever in my life wala pako kasuwaya ani.

Karon, akong gi CLEAR CMOS 2x sad ni nako gi buhat ang install a new OS again. The good thing is kay why man ang CPU temperature after pag CLR CMOS nako dli naman taas iyang CPU temperature.
Before eversince 50-60C up pa gani pero wala sad mo abot ug 70C hapit lang, then karon dako kaayo ug kalahian maski load and idle it stayed at 36-40C why man? Pwede ba ang BIOS ang cause sa problema? sa pag Clear CMOS nako maka tabang bana ug eliminate sa problema?

Ako gi ask akong amigo nga tech iya ingon di daw na garbage, kay mag duwa sad ko o maski unsa di man mo garbage...so mao na iya gi sulti kay if garbage daw, mo exist jud na labi na mag duwa ka.

Kamo guys, kinsa naka suway ani? Kinsa same specs sa akoa, Pls advised me unsa ako buhaton ani.
Intermitent kaayo akong problema, unsaon mani nako??

Bro dili jud ko switi aning mga butanga pero advice lang ko nimo to try checking your mobo kung wala bay any part nga nidapat sa case coz basin grounded lang na xa. naka experience nasad ko ana b4 then ang rison ky grounded ang mobo sa case. try sad check kung maayo jud pagka install imong pocessor hsf kay basin luag. i know its not a very good solution but maybe it can help

di sad heat problem, I have no problem with processor and HSF, Infact ako nani gi limpyuhan bag-o lang ug pretty sure ko natarong ug butang nako 100% jud. About the grounded, almost casing grounded man bro...pero di mana maka cause ug ing ana cguro..

Pls tubaga ninyo ako mga pangutana?

I've been installing and uninstalling the DUAL CORE Optimizer, and not once have i encountered problems doing that.

Anyways, could you please give us the exact version of new Nvidia driver you installed. Also what was the version of the original Nvidia Driver you installed.

Also try kuno using your system with only 1 RAM. I mean 1GB lang ang gamiton.

3dMarks? - vga test (bahalag onboard, burn.in lang)
memtest86+ - full ram testing
prime95 - full processor load
seatools - harddisk

have you tried using a non SP3 xp? the regular / unmodified windows Xp professional SP2?

is that Sp3 the xp with vista theme? modified in short?

I BET its your operating system that craps your system.... modified XPs are not perfect. alot has been changed for specific user's need. But come to think of this, the original person who modified that xp which is i supposed for his preference, and its not always that it can adapt to any system. its primarily for him

i have bad experiences with modified xp + drivers... doesnt work fine all the time.

btaw bai tayg kang amit na imung xp sp3.. btw im using xp sp3 frm msdn, but it wont activate without a genuine serial .

I have a genuine windows xp professional sp2, then I have downloaded the winxp sp3, I had been using that since it has final released. I tried that from my old PC and it works no problem at all, I tried that now to my NEW PC w/c I have a problem with this. I can seem to figure out what the cause and I really dont know why and where did it came from coz this is the first time I encounteer this problem.

CPU <---I tried burning test that one no problem as I have said
Memory<----I tried testing that no problem
HDD<----I also test that one to UTIL DOS BASE no problem
Mobo onboard vga <------thats what I have tried to do now

Come on mga master! I just have a 1 month old PC and its running smoothly untill then the problem occur how did it happen?

The version of nvidia driver I use is simply from the CD, and the latest driver of nvidia I installed is in nvidia.com.


I've been installing and uninstalling the DUAL CORE Optimizer, and not once have i encountered problems doing that. <--------- What problem problem did you encounteer can you explain it all.

Mga master! kabalo sad ko nga maka daut nang revised winxp sp3 and I didnt use that ever before, I only use genuine jud.

And as what I have said its very intermittent, I will not know when it come back.?

Since I have clear the CMOS to my mobo it has no problem as of now, does it help?

One thing, about 3dMark if ako ma burn test do you think mo gawas ang problema?
Unsa man jud nang garbage?
