YM Problem...script error.pls help

Guys, everytime i log in to my YM i get this error like this...

After clicking either yes or no...this comes up next


i tried enabling the IE and firefox scriptings
i tried updating my IE6 to IE 7 via windows update
i tried to unLInk my account from YM
i tried to upgrade from YM7 to YM8

ITS all not working....ambot nalang ani....just experienced this karon nga week....no changes happend...nikalit lang gyud cya. when i try this in the office.mao ghpon ang prob.

Office? Then it must not have to do anything with your account. This probably means that the company you are working for blocks the scripts.

since you did not mentioned to uninstall, redownload and reinstall the whole program of YM7, did you?

this is IE related IMO. i suggest cleaning up ur IE, disable the add-ons & enabling as u go. i remembered resetting everything IE back to a clean slate & it worked. this could also be an aftermath when ur anti-virus/anti-spyware intercepted one.

or, u use firefox and set it up as ur default browser. hope that helps.

yup. i reinstalled it...un-install and install again...

the office did not block anything kay same prob man sa balay...

Okay, do this:


- go to windows media player-> tools -> options -> network
- check multicast, tcp, http
- uncheck udp
- under streaming proxy settings, highlight http, click configure, and check autodetect

if that script error still show, that means ur default browser is still IE. check the firefox options, it's at the bottom to make it ur default browser. have u tried disabling the IE add-ons? try that, too. just enable what's needed when the app asked for it.

i tried to UNLINK my account then un-install then installed YM9 Beta. bahla ni dili stable...my problem went away.
