Lord of the Rings fans out there, did you know about Hobbit Week? If you do, do you know when Hobbit Day is?
Hobbit Week or Tolkien Week for this year, starts on September 19 until the 25th of September and Hobbit Day is on September 22. Tolkien Week is observed as the calendar week containing September 22.
Tolkien Week honors J.R.R. Tolkien and his son and editor, Christopher J.R. Tolkien, and celebrates the Middle-earth cycle: The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King), Unfinished Tales, and The History of Middle-earth.*
For Hobbit week, we will be posting fun stuff about the movies and the books.
For a start, get to know which character are you. Are you a hobbit, a wizard, an orc, or maybe an Elven king? The possibilities are endless.
