Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is now showing in cinemas

Believe in the power of wishes and make them come true in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish,” now showing in cinemas. Don’t miss the newest animated musical fantasy film that takes you on a magical and musical adventure celebrating Disney’s 100 years of storytelling.


As part of celebrating the release of “Wish,” a nationwide music caravan was held at SM Mall of Asia, SM City Clark, SM Seaside Cebu, and Ayala Malls Central Bloc, allowing fans all over the Philippines to get connected to the single “Aking Hiling,” the Tagalog version of the global single “This Wish” as performed by this generation’s pop princess, Zephanie. Disney fans can continue listening to the song on Spotify. Stay tuned, as the official music video will launch soon.


“Wish” tells the story of a young girl named Asha (Ariana DeBose), who lives in the magical kingdom of Rosas, where wishes come true. After discovering the hidden truth behind the kingdom and its ruler, King Magnifico (Chris Pine), she sets out to save the kingdom. Together with her trusty goat, Valentino, and a ball of energy named Star, they try to save everyone’s wishes and help them come true.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star, answers it.

Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
