Celebrating the color and rhythms of the Sinulog festival

Cebu Parklane International Hotel is the perfect place to truly experience the spirit of Sinulog—the joyous celebration of Cebu's heritage and culture. It is a time for people from all walks of life to come together and celebrate this wonderful festivity.


We kicked off our Sinulog festivities with an art exhibit by Ruel Rosello entitled "Saulog." Ruel is known for his signature art of painting the Filipino traditional way of life while incorporating the Sr. Sto. Nino and depicting the cartoony "bulging eyes" and "crooked teeth."

A series of activities for the hotel guests followed after the art exhibit, including a Cebuano and Filipino special buffet for lunch and dinner, Fiesta Cebuano in Kan-anan, and Sugbu Merienda at Bean Date.

Aside from the art exhibit, henna tattoo and face painting services are available to guests to round out the Sinulog scene.


In addition, for the first time, we teamed up with Quest Hotel to showcase each other's Sinulog festival dance. We wanted to ensure that we're doing our part to support this prestigious event — together!

We thought it would be cool to paint the streets in colorful costumes and make it a place where people can come together and dance.
