SilkAir and Singapore Airlines Showcase and Travel Fair 2018

SilkAir, together with Singapore Airlines, held its fifth Showcase and Travel Fair at The Gallery in Ayala Center Cebu last February 2 to 4. This event was in partnership with BPI, Ayala Malls, Globe Platinum, Singapore Tourism Board, and Changi Airport Group. With the theme “Experience the Best in Travel”, this event gave vacation seekers an opportunity to start planning their trips for the whole year.

SilkAir is the regional wing of Singapore Airlines. It operates as an extension of the Singapore Airline Group. It is in charge of seeding and developing new and exciting destinations in the Asia Pacific. Today, the full-service airline has over 400 weekly flights to 52 destinations in 16 countries. In April 2017, SilkAir began offering flights to Colombo. Following this, they began offering flights to Hiroshima in October 2017.


The SilkAir Showcase and Travel Fair 2018 allowed customers to enjoy great deals and exclusive perks to 84 destinations. The exceptional rates came with free baggage allowance, inflight meals, inflight entertainment, and accruable KrisFlyer Miles. Promotional fares were also exclusive to KrisFlyer members, BPI credit and prepaid cardholders, Globe Platinum customers as well as Glorietta, TriNoma, and Ayala Center Cebu shoppers. The event was also filled with interactive booths and activity areas. Travel experts were also present to share their travel hacks.


SilkAir and Singapore Airlines also introduced their enhanced airfare pricing structure. Customers are now able to choose from three types of airfare when making a booking. All-inclusive roundtrip Economy Class fares to Asian destinations start from USD205. For travellers who want extra comfort during their flights, Premium Economy Class fares are also available. All-in fares to Asian destinations start from USD970. Travellers who want to travel in luxury and style can avail of the Business Class fares. All-in Business Class fares to Asian destinations start from USD690. Discounted fares are also available for various international destinations.
