Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan inaugurated its Holiday lineup of activities with the theme Oh What Fun with a tree lighting event last 29th November at the resort’s Score Sports Bar. The tree lighting event was attended by Lapu-Lapu City Mayor, Hon. Paz C. Radaza who lighted the tree along with City Tourism Officer Hembler Mendoza, General Manager Didier Belmonte and Director of Sales and Marketing Jo Ann Castillo.
Guests that includes the resort’s corporate clients, the local media and select in-house guests witnessed some amazing talents and collaborations with the Ballet Center of Cebu as they gave the audience a wonderful performance of the Alice in Wonderland under the direction of Mr. Nicholas Pacaña and the Special Program for the Arts talents of Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School who brought the holiday vibes with a medley of some Christmas songs we all loved.
The main highlight of the evening is the 22-foot Christmas tree that is made up of bamboo ornamented with garlands and other native decors that is perfect for the native theme of the resort
“Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan officially starts the celebration of the wonders of Christmas and we are humbled and honored to be able to share this with you. The resort has prepared a whole list of activities and merriment to channel the jovial spirit of the occasion to all our guests, tonight being only the beginning of this month long celebration” shares Didier Belmonte, Crimson Mactan’s General Manager.
The celebration wouldn’t be complete without the traditional feast. Featured that night was an amazing selection of classic Christmas staples such as the baked Christmas ham, Beef Wellington and the all time favorite roasted turkey.
Apart from the grand Christmas Tree Lighting celebration, Crimson will also launched the annual Grant A Wish campaign for the students of Soong Elementary School and Don Vincente Rama Memorial National High School that aims to grant the simple wishes of the students for Christmas come to life.
“This year, we knock into your hearts by helping us with this project through a purchase of a ginger bread house, which proceeds will be used for this program, and will run until the 3rd of January 2017” says GM Belmonte.
