The reason for the update? My friend and fellow iStoryan TARMAC just became a "bus" driver recently. Dreams do come true

Congrats Tarmac! I hope I get to fly in a 'bus that he'd be flying one of these days.

A stunning horse sculpture made from driftwood greets people upon entering the lobby of the TGU Tower building at I.T. Park, Cebu City. Here is a snapshot I took yesterday. The lighting was dim and I didn't have a tripod, so the image is slightly blurry.



Upon reaching the elevator area and waiting for a ride up, I can't help but overhear reactions of people upon seeing that sculpture ...

If there's one hobby I have totally ceased to engage in, primarily due to time and budget constraints (well, what other constraints are there?), it's the classic "boy's hobby" called plastic scale modeling.

In probably one of our fastest build operations ever as a content creation firm, my Avatrian teammates and I (three of us are iStoryans) reconstructed Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad Hideout in the virtual world of Second Life.

If I only woke up earlier, I could have asked the motorcycle-for-hire driver to find a better spot beyond Marco Polo, so that I could have included Mars in the shot. But as they say, celestial events don't wait for anyone, so I took my shots, and that was that.

I was quite shocked when I found out about GE (Google Earth) Flight Simulator, a free flight simulator developed single-handedly by Dutch programmer Xavier Tassin. I first found about it in an announcement over at Flightsim.com. Here's the link to that announcement, which contains a little intro about it as well, portions of which I will paste in this note:
