i agree this thread is leading into something and should be moderated if not closed, but replies like this one is full of misinformation too. i pity those people who seem to not even have a tv set in front of them, for them not to know current events. all filipinos young and old know that metro manila is the top city in the philippines, followed by cebu and davao. thus cebu is the queen in the visayas and davao tops mindanao. no question about that.

i wonder how forumers could easily connect investments like hanjin, phividec, laguindingan airport, etc. to cagayan de oro city, when in reality do not belong to the city in any way possible not even 25 kilometers near from the city border. how about zamboanga? why is that noboby's noticing this bustling city too?

if i am wrong about manila, cebu and davao. then we must sue TV stations, news prints, local and international surveys, local and foreign travellers that say so. please let us not make this forum a forum for 5 year olds.

if these are not evidences of davao's economic superiority over the others, then i wont be surprise if somebody here would claim that caloocan is more progressive than quezon city.

on second thought, i agree this thread is a valid one. i have seen lots of davao pictures here and other sources that would support such claim, but not one picture from CDO that would make it even topple zamboanga. so let's go on with the topic. gensan, zamboanga or cdo? here's zamboanga evidence.
