DDR2 1G pc5300 memory~ is only less 20USD, but here... wow~ 1350pesos.... around 33USD...

if you order directly from US very mahal ug magasto and if naa man available diri and still mahal it because of many reasons:
*tax
*law of supply and demand(if daghan ga demand ana na product then gamay ra ang supply medyo mahal but if daghan ang supply medyo gamay jud ang price ana.
*competitors(if daghan nag sale ana na product im sure medyo barato jud na but if gamay ra gabaligya ana na product medyo mahal jud na.)
*economy nato diri sa Pilipinas compared sa US
*ETC...

if your looking for cheap products and less costs go for china products but they have a very poor quality of products

@Rills: businessminded is right... if you can't stand the prices in our local pc shops, nobody's stopping you from buying elsewhere (many are doing that).

if i may add, if you buy locally, you get a warranty from the shop; get it online and you're left on your own when it comes to availing of warranty (that usually includes shipping costs to the vendor/manufacturer).

you should also look at things from the business side point of view...

Pag request lang sa CDRKING basin maka provide sila ug cheap products...like LCD, cdrking processors etc... bitaw ana jud na ang life bro...Negosyo....so better tigom jud aron ka palit ta anang gusto natong parts sa pc na wala diri sa Philippines.Kay kung daghan ka money di jud ka kaingon na mahal...pero kung pariha ra nako wla ika afford bisag 100pesos ang presyo for a certain parts sa pc for me mahal nana better buy secondhand items :mrgreen:

eBay prices aren't final prices unless you are talking about buyout prices. Most equipment will end up near it's commercial value when the bidding has wrapped up.

probably tungod sa atong tax diri... on imported electronic goods. kay kung imong hunahunaon, mas duol ra biya unta ta sa source ani mga butangi... considering, most of them are manufactured sa china or taiwan..

naa man diay baligya ang thread starter nga DDR2 PC5300 1Gig for P1,000 only at the B&S- so based on his example a 350pesos savings.
hopefully you can offer other PC parts as well at cheaper prices also.
