Disadvantages of ASUS Eee PC

1. NO XP yet~ -> It's limited free OS(LINUX). If u wanna buy NEW OS like XP~, It s another cost(4500~5000pesos).

2. No Optical drive -> U cannot install anything(like WindowXP) if u don't buy external ODD. It costs another 4000~5000pesos

3. Small resolution 800p only. Most of websites 1024p. We can not see every contents.

4. 4GB capacity only. How do u watch a movie without ODD?? It s only 4GB..... hahaha.

Anyway It s ur choice~

There are no disadvantages, it was intended for a specific use and it excels at that. If it doesn't suit you, buy something else. You can't buy a Kia expecting it to be a Benz.

The EEE is overrated. btw it is possible for XP to be on the Eee, as for the Memory it leaves much to be desired BUT you can either use an external drive OR buy a 4gb memory card as an Expansion so you will have 8gb about the resolution is it possible for it to change? if you can have XP you can probably up your resolution

but for the EEE price i would rather buy a 2nd hand laptop

Mas nindot pman gani ni kaysa OLPC.

Nahan pd tah au ko ani.. Pero wla lng lge optical drive. Mao ra jd nah ako di ganahan about ani niya.
sayang pd ang Linux kay dili Gnome. Hehe. Pero ok ra man pd ang KDE.
