    Default Wrong Cmos Setting


    kinsay kabalo ani mo solve...tabang....

    inig boot nako sa ako pc mo gawas ang wrong cmos settings ug wrong setting of time ug date...then i press the f1 to set the date and time...then inig boot usab makasulod na sya sa windows...but inig if nako sa pc then turned it on after mga 3hours same problem...
    ako na gi clean ang board,ram,reconnect all wires,change the battery but still same problem...makasulod ko sa window mao lagi ako nasad e set balik ang setting sa time, date etc.

    im using old msi 915 g combo.


    i dont know how to reflash...can anyone help me...here...coz medyo kapos ako sa kwarta ron and i cant afford na ayohon ug technician...

    any tips how to solve this problem?

    same type raman kaha ug cmos batt ang imong gi-ilis? remove cmos batt, turn on pc then shut off then reinsert cmos batt.

    yes same type of battery bought in pcx,i tried remove cmos batt many times already..and i will try it again tonight...also i tried clearing the cmos using jbat1...same result...i hope tonight ok na ni...

    I have also the same problem with my MSI motherboard. There are reflashing instructions in MSI forum at their website http://forum.msi.com.tw/ but I haven't tried it out yet..you can also search for answers regarding the wrong cmos settings problem..

    dili kaha ang battery ang problem bro?
    seems the bios settings you modify aren't getting saved (esp date/time).
    did you use the clear cmos jumper? perhaps its still in the reset setting.

    basi naa'y uban users sa msi board na pareha nimo ug problema, try msi support forums c",)

    kapoy na kaayo sige set sa time...mao ra jud ako kapoyan..bag o lang nako gi tang tang ang batt then balik, and other etc etc etc....now i can use it fine...but inig off nako then after pila ka hours ako e on,same problem again,then again i have to set up again and again the date....

    kapoy na kaayo ko....is this a serious problem sa ako board...kapoy na sige reset..then update sa time...
    just now dili na madetect ako usb when i tried to connect my phone...but based sa deviced manager usb hub working fine...

    ako na gi reset ang cmos using jumper then back it to the orig position...i tried also removing the batt(bag-o lang ni nako nailisan due to this problem but still mao gihapon)mao ra gihapon...unsaon mani...do i need to change my board?

    help....if ipaayo pila ang charge msi 915gcombo ako mobo...just check sa msi for more info about the mobo... faet kaayo mahal ni ako palit sa una

    but its 915p combo right?(libog ko)at the second link u can see the orig sticker with the model of the board(the same jud ang nawong sa ako mobo)...when i removed the sticker its 915p combo...normal ra ni?on the third link ang mobo is 915p combo man(dili the same ang nawong sa ako mobo)naglibog ko=nasayop ba ang msi ug labeling sa ila mobo....im really concerned of this issue coz i dont know which updated bios to be install sa ako mobo.

    ako gi tan aw ang board nako...duol sa pci-e slot naa man diha ang model number etc...tampered ug sticker instead na sa board jud ang number or the model name...when i remove the sticker 915p man...unsa ni na problem? ako sa e visit ang site sa msi to confirm this kind of tampering....faeta ani oi

    I strongly suggest to buy another CR2032 battery. The CMOS battery is already too weak.

    But before buying a new CR2032 battery try to press many times as you can the "Default Settings". It sounds like that. But if the problem persist again then buy another CMOS battery. You can buy that only for I think 20pesos below.

    please read my post... i said bag o ra ko nipalit ug new battery....it means bag-o...dont tell me we should replace our cmos battery in every one month...i think its good for 1year...right?

    i will share u again i just buy a new cmos battery....
