TRUTH
i don't know where to post this
example: if you have an LCD 17" monitor whose voltage is 100-240 volts... would plugging it to 110v transformer save power or not? how about in 220v? or does it affect?

it doesn't affect at all
you need a transformer
regardless of your source, it will not save you anything on your electric bills.![]()
yup sakto silang duha bro
one way that 'might' save you a bit of wattage is this though: do not plug your monitor directly into your PC's power supply if generic ra imong PSU. ipansak nlng na deretso sa socket or avr..hehe
If you have the x'former....use 220v and sell your x'former then you can save...
ngano need man siya transformer nga variable man ang iyang voltage up to 240v? correct me if i'm wrong.Originally Posted by ajol
pero to answer the thread starter's question, it doesn't matter at all. depende jud na sa wattage sa imong LCD.
i think typo na cya bro, "you dont need a transformer" cguro iyang pasabot..hehe
dili gyud ka save....
sa wattage mana basehan.. not on its voltage,,
