Default AMD Ryzen 1st Gen vs 2nd Gen

mga bossing, ask lng ko inputs ninyu

worth it ba mag 2nd gen over 1st gen?
    - performance wise dako og difference?
    - power usage?

Pang day to day gaming lng, not really that die hard gamer, bsta maka duwa og unsay ganahan duwaon. pasabot nako dli die hard dli ko tig 4k kay akong monitor 24" ra. 1080p is enough for a wise guy

Another thing dli ko mag overclock.

Nindot man gud mag 6 core, maybe naa koy mga video processing, image processing stuff but as a hobby ra dli ko ana pud ka frequent tig edit. if naay gana ayha ra mag edit2

I opt to have 6 core (ryzen 5 1600) kay barato naman gud ron over sa ryzen 5 2600 almost x2 ang price.

plus grabeh ka mahal ang vid card ron so yeah, thats why im asking this question.

    @ TS,

if budget is not an issue for you, between your mentioned choices, spank Ryzen 2... if not, then 1st gen Ryzen will do the job nicely.

basin ma paakan ka sa OC bug... hehehe... there's no harm in doin' OC... its very safe and very easy to do... para ni maka squeeze out pa gyud ka ug performance sa imohang components like CPU and GPU... OC'ing ram is not a big contributor on the games fps but, the numbers are nice to look at if you're performing a benchmark on system mem...

anyhow, CPU and GPU OC'ing is fun and easy to do... you just need to get the right PC components for it...

Personally never considered Ryzen 2. Dili m.make sense para naq ang minor performance updates sa Ryzen 2 over sa Ryzen 1 when you take the budget difference. Labe na sa newer and way more expensive Ryzen 2 boards.

As far as I know the biggest difference and really cool feature from AMD is that starting from 2nd generation they really start to make that cool APU's for you which beat Intel competitors for many years in a row and I think it's really great!
