well as i have said, kois sold in magallanes are not very advisable to buy. Most kois there are stressed out due to various factors and therefore has a very hi mortality rate. You may be able to buy them at a cheaper price but the risk of loosing them is also high. Aside from being stressed out, some fish vendors in magallanes bought their kois directly from mudponds or lamak and then idisplay dayon nila sa sidewalk bisan ug wa pa macondition. Kois from mudponds are very sensitive and without the proper care and handling die easily. It would take an experienced koi collector to treat kois from mudponds. Its not that koi are that sensitive bcoz compared to other fish species, kois are quite resistant man...
