Produced by Robot Underdog, the planned web series is both a tribute to Akira Toriyama’s beloved manga and a live-action adaptation of the 1993 television special Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks, which the filmmakers point out premiered 22 years ago today.
In Light of Hope, Goku and the other Z Warriors are dead, leaving Gohan and Trunks to fight the seemingly unstoppable Androids and save lives. As this is only the pilot, we’re left to wonder whether Gohan will be able to train young Trunks to realize his full potential.
“Our goal is to bring the Dragon Ball world to life in a way that’s never been done before, while staying true to the characters and story,” Robot Underdog explains. “We want to use this episode as leverage to make more episodes for this web series and other projects.”

wuuuuuuuuut? i was going to post this. hahaha, This is good. it is better than dragon ball Z evolution adaptation. Characters may not be as good. But the fighting scene man.

Couldn't have pick a better part of DBZ to turn into a live action adaptation.
But obligatory "Hikari no Will Power" or I will be disappointed.
