dude, these guys already released an album after this. it's called "define the great line", i think its a bit late to talk about "they're only chasing safety".
but if you ask me. yeah, i think they rock. not really heavy though, but "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door" is an awsome song.
and it's nice that bands like this hold on to their beliefs dearly. specially when they talk about their personal views on christianity. vocalist spencer chamberlain said a lot of things that knocked some sense into me.
i think the whole christian metal/rock genre should be given a chance. check out: as i lay dying, demon hunter, skillet, sinai beach and others...
Yeah, I have both albums. But I like this one better. Especially the song "Reinventing Your Exit".
Any singles you like in particular?
umm.. i cant say bro. i just recently "discovered" them. well, i've heard of them years ago. but, i never bothered to immerse myself in their songs/videos.
honestly, after reading an interview on spencer a week ago. i was hooked, and started paying attention to them. so, im still slowly getting there...
Listen to their 1st release bai kadto sa ila karaan na vocals Dallas Taylor(naana siya sa This Runs Through) , christian metalcorish pa ang approach sa underoath ato, mas nindot to IMHO..
"I am so fed up with people acting like cowards, and so tired of the many things I've lived for in the past. I feel like it's time to get back to where I was when I was young. This band is proud of who we are as people, what we believe, and where we come from. I feel like so much of music today, especially those who come from a Christian background, spend so much time hiding who they really are, or being ashamed of their beliefs, trying to be 'scene' or to sell records. I want every kid to know I am not going to change who I really am to sell records. I mean, I absolutely hate shoving things down people's throats, but hiding who you are is just as bad." - DALLAS TAYLOR
cool quote.
