Default POWER SAVER? SAVE OR UNSAVE? Here's my experience/warning. Share yours.

Generally, there are two major ways to increase profit; increasing sales or you cut costs/expenses. Since sales is something I can not control that much since competition in the icafe industry (or any other industry for that matter) is as stiff as ever, I have been desperately trying to cut costs. And if your in this business, you pretty well know that the biggest piece of the expense pie is electricity.

So, here I am trying to cut my electric bill as much as I can. Micro managed 2 aircon units depending on the number of customers as well the external temperatures provided by our weather. One lucky/unlucky day, someone came up to me and said he has something that could cut my electric bills by +/- 30% at the cost of PHP 10,000.00 payable within 6 months. What struck me with this offer is that it is a whole lot cheaper compared to the other agents that came to me with the same product. Desperate, I took the offer.

After the first month of the unit running, my electricity bill GREW by around 30%! Yes that GREW not the expected DECREASE that I expected. When I told them about this, they said that they will replace the unit because it may be defective. Replace they did and after another month, GREW bigger my bill went! This time it's around 40%! OMG! WTF! HOLY S%IT! GODLIKE! SOMEBODY STOP IT! lolz nalang!

Right now, I'm still waiting for my refund. Wish me luck!

    Summary:

Electricity expenses: from 12,000 average to 14,000+ on the 1st month then 17,000+ on the 2nd month.
Agent: Danny (I forgot the family name but I'll check on my job order)
    Business Name: Apord's Market Link
Proprietor: Ricardo (I forgot the family name but I'll check on my job order)
Business Address: Castor Belleza Street, Mohon, Talisay City

I have verified the business name and the proprietor in the DTI website and it match. Something that also gave me a little assurance of the dealer.

Mga kuya ug ate, kini ang akong suliran! mwahahahahaahahaha! kamo diha? aduna ba kamaoy sosama ni-ini nga experiencya?

This is a scam, they came to our house before and offer us their product. Since we have a very high electricity bills averagely 4T-5T so we bought the gadget in cash since they give a big discount for cash buyers and also the promise of at least 30% savings on electricity bills. Then came the first month, no savings bill still the same as usual. Second month still the same. They came back after 2nd months and asked if we did have some savings. I told them wala, so what they did is they said they will replace the item maybe its busted. I gave out the item since they sound so legit and took the receipt aswell for replacement verification daw. Gago man sad ko kay salig kaayo because they look kagalanggalang man sad and left their phone numbers. 2 months came by wala gyud sila nibalik, I'm always busy man gud so I hardly think about it. I tried calling the numbers but to no avail. In simple terms, NAILAD KO.

So people beware of this guys. 3 sila kabuok niadto sa amo, 1 of them as if is the supervisor who can give big discounts for cash buyers. Mga tagalog ni sila, I think they are 'coz they sound so fluent in tagalog. Ayaw mog pailad ani, ayaw mo pagpinariha nako na atat kaayo maka save ilad nuon.

i have one man, pero, i still don't know kung ga function, the principle kasi nito is putting a capacitor that clip off your power factor, dahil and load natin mostly ay inductance, but this doesn't work kung hindi automatic, dahil instead na nagbabawas, nagiging load ito kung wala kang gingamit na load, this principle is being used sa mga company for lowering thier power consumption, pero kinahanglan automatic that would equal sa imong inductance against your powersaver capacitance, pero ang load kasi natin ay nag va vary, so if its not automatic it is useless.
