Default Moving to Singapore and need advice on money saving, looking for apartment`

Hey guys, anybody here who can give some insight on moving to singapore? Working there? How to get an apartment, less than $1300 or how to save up some cash? Tips are greatly welcomed. Thanks. If all goes well and my e-pass is done I may be moving.

naa na ka nakit-an nga work ngadto or mangita pa ka ngadto?? i have a cousin there nga para dili waste sa time and money ngadto sa singapore to look 4 a work, mo sign in daw ka og employment pass eligibility certificate (EPEC) application system...

    here's the site: https://epec.mom.gov.sg/epec/FAQ.jsp

if naa naka E-Pass then theres no need to worry about EPEC. E-Pass can only be given to people who is currently employed na. Ang EPEC good for 1 year of job hunting.

SG$1,300 murag ubos ra na if you're planning to rent out a whole flat. if room lang that's more than enough. I suggest getting an agent to look for a place for you (with your specifications and requirements). agent fees usually charge half of the monthly rate of the flat/room. and suggest ko find a place near your work place. you'll have more time for rest if you're office is near. plus saves you a couple of $ on your transpo.

Cost of living: If you don't smoke and not an alcoholic, then you'll be fine. ang usa ka stick dire is worth 1 pack of cigarette sa pinas... daily budget for food&transpo is around SG$15-20 depends on how far is your work place from home. if you like shopping, like most of the people here, then just save you money and wait till next pay day is near. that way, you won't be having problems with overshooting budget (ting bitay). they only pay you once a month.. not twice.

buy your office clothes in the philippines... it's much cheaper compared dire sa singapore. casual clothes pwede ra dire... go to Bugis, it's where you find bazaars, cheap finds. kung mangita kag rubbing alcohol or sukang pinakurat ba kaha, adto sa Lucky Plaza (pinoy central of singapore) in Orchard road. Ambot wa jud kaila'g rubbing alcohol mga tao dire.

lisud jud ang imong first month of stay dire (given you already found a job). hinugtanay jud sa bakus para maka labang lang jud sa 1st month until pay day.

lastly ayg kalimot pamangka on your first salary ^_____^.

Wala nay balay karon nga 1300 diri, advise nako kuha lang ug common room ug kanang doul sa imong work place para maka save ka.E check ni website Pinoysg.com/classified ads/accommodation/room.
Pwede pud ka magpatabang sa mga agent pero naa lagi bayad.pili-a lang nang imong makauban pinoy pud kay kung maka uban nimo gani PANA i mean indian ba, sus perting bahu-a....Mahal raba diri ang pagka-on balay ug clothing, pero kon mag daginot ka maka tigom pud noon gamay yaw lang segi adto sa OT, tanjong ug geylang kay horot jud na imo sweldo bay.....
