The CDO Chamber of commerce is headed by Elpidio Paras, who also owned a number of businesses in the city and is monopolizing certain enterprises. CDO is a booming city and dapat dugay ra nilambo ni nga syudad. Nia dri ang Nestle Philippines, Del Monte Philippines, Pepsi co., Coca Cola, Asia Brewery, and other big corporates pero wa gyapon.

These two companies wouldn't want big players to grab their prized pool of manpower. While Davao is enjoying growth in BPO, CDO isn't.

If we base this on factual statistics and not your mere visual assesment, you're WRONG.

Top 10 Cities in the Philippines with Highest Total Income include Davao (and Cebu), but I don't see CDO.
Top 10 Cities in the Philippines with Highest Tax Revenues include Davao (and Cebu), again no CDO.

Makati, Quezon City, Manila and Pasig are consistently the four cities with the highest total tax revenue. The next four are Paranaque, Pasay, Mandaluyong, and Caloocan. Also in the top 10 is Davao, with Muntinlupa rounding up the top 10 in 2008 and Cebu in 2007.

Granted, these are not the latest stats, but I can't find them right now. If you can show me some links with more recent reports (2013-2014) showing CDO has outranked Davao, I'll be all ears. Until then, you must accept the fact that you're dead wrong.

I highly doubt na naa ka idea about economic activities between the two. Davao is consistently in top 10 sa highest tax revenues in all cities diri sa Pinas. Kung muingon ka kay mas dako ang Davao, check per Capita income. More than a decade ko nag stay sa Davao, wala pa jud ko nakawatan didto bisan cge mabuntagan. Wala pa 1 year sa Cebu nakuotan nko iphone. Gi trace nako, lumad taga Ermita, Cebu. Regardless kung lumad or dili, the point is, dili ma solve sa City officials ang mga pety crimes diri. Sa tan-aw ba sad nimo ang Davao puro lumad ang nakapuyo? Been around Philippines, specially in Mindanao (North & South Cotabato, Cot City, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Gensan, CDO, Bukidnon, Cebu, QC, Manila, etc) way maka pildi in terms of Security sa Davao City. Economic progress kay highly tied with peace and order. Mao sa tan-aw nako mas dako jud ang potential sa Davao.
