Hardware problem - No Display

Hi,

I have a defective LAPTAP. There is no display during boot up. The CPU fan and CD ROM drive are functioning. Also tested the memory modules - they are working with other computer. I can hear series of beeps. 2 short and 1 long beep.

Anyone have a suggestion how to fix this.

try daw clean sa golden conncetors sa imo laptop...

else.... naay daot sa imo laptop except sa imo ram

unsa man imu laptop na brand? pwede man natu ma check ang beep codes

try daw connect a CRT monitor para check if uba imu lcd pero.. naa man beeps gud.. so maybe naa ra jud na sa sulod

hi,

na clean na nako ang golden connectors but still same problem.

Toshiba TECRA S1 ang brand sa ako laptap.

naka try nasad nako connect to an external monitor but still no display.

Where can i get to check the beep codes

I was able to dismantle the laptap and have it hot aired (motherboard) kay bsin naa lang na tang2x na solder pero same problem lang gihapon.

I am looking for the block diagram sa ako motherboard kay i was looking sa video RAM na probably nagka hardware fault (according sa internet). I dont know kung pwede lang maka palit kato ra nga part kay kung dili it means to replace the whole mother board.

possible cause i think is motherboard or video adaptor.

if anyone hav same experience or hav expertise i would very much appreciate your suggestions.

no display on ext monitor maybe mobo or videocard, ok raman kaha ram d b? awa daw sa toshiba websitebasin naa sla tech support documents there sguro, gud luck

No display, but naa beep, Ok ra ang mobo ana, So sa VC na or sa memory.

Who has tested na tangtangon ang physical memory sa inyo system naa bay display?
If the answer is naa display basin walay memory ma narrow nato sa VC.

naa beep? most probably sa video card na.. second option ang ram.. try lng.. update lng nya kng unsa.

Since you heard 2 short beeps and 1 short beep that indicates a videocard problem.
