Hi Everyone,

I have a friend who happens to work in RCBC. They have this product where you can get a credit card by having a time deposit of at least 5,000php.

Requirements:

1. 5,000php (time deposit)
2. 2 photos (1x1 or 2x2)
3. 2 valid government issued IDS (photocopy each of the VALID back to back)

Available credit cards:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• JCB

It will take at least 1 week to process your application.

I believe this is what you call "secured credit card"; you can get this one in any RCBC branch but you can't withdraw your time deposit unless you cancel the card since it is being used as a guarantee. Also, if you deposit around 5k, you'll also have the same credit limit.

I've read about this and will be getting one for the meantime. The credit limit in accordance to their website is 100% of your time deposit. (I will still verify this though)
