My advice.. list down all the modules that you have made before and find a way to combine all of them into one machine..

5th year so mag expect ko kahibaw kag programming ug circuits? Robotics nalang para ma dali mo, kanang mo punit ug object or unsa pa nga mas sayun...

simple robotics lang brader, Atmega8 or PIC daog na na, Pick n Place robot. More research on Servo or Stepper Motor and use Encoder disc for servo motor accuracy daghan na makita sa mga dead printer.

Kung ganhan ka ug mind blowing just add vision system mao nay mo determine sa location sa object, once ma determine na nya ang location mo hatag dayun ang pc ug serial data sa atmega or PIC about X ang Y location dayun e execute dayon sa mga motor. Para maka punit ang imong robot pag himo lang ug gripper.

Study pud diay about Pulse Width Modulation mao nay mo control sa speed sa imong servo motor.

Mao rna ako IDEA nga mas sayon TS...hehehhe kaya ra?
