DirectX 10 Vista only!

Arrrghhh! Vista sucks. I hate Microsoft!. Next thing we'll know they'll be pulling the plug for Windows XP support.
Upgrade nasad ta ani sa Rig for Vista. ARrrrgh maypa mag Mac. Starcraft 2 will also be released in MAC

Don't be hating on Microsoft just yet. There aren't DX10 games released yet. And after a year of Vista's release I believe it will be the standard Windows OS. Or after their inevitable 1st service pack.

Finally making use of this blog I created almost a year ago. What a busy year it's turned out to be, from the inception of the Alky Project to the creation of Falling Leaf Systems and the Sapling Program.

As a fitting start to this blog, I'm proud to release a preview of our Alky compatibility libraries for Microsoft DirectX 10 enabled games. These libraries allow the use of DirectX 10 games on platforms other than Windows Vista, and increase hardware compatibility even on Vista, by compiling Geometry Shaders down to native machine code for execution where hardware isn't capable of running it. No longer will you have to upgrade your OS and video card(s) to play the latest games.

And you know what sucks more? Vista's gonna get dx10.1 on the inevitable Vista SP1, rendering the current video cards useless to later 10.1 games. But don't worry, when Dx is still in transition games are made to handle multiple versions of Dx, so most games coming out in about the next two or three years will have dx9.0c versions at least.

And i heard there was a dx10 hack for xp...
