pls help me choose sata2 hardisk.

good day istoryans. i currently have a sata2 mobo with an ide hardisk. the problem is i dont know how to choose sata2 hardisk nga maayo.

with ide, ako ginapangita is seagate and 7200rpm so its very simple.

but with sata2, i dont know what other specs i need to look for..

pls. help me with this:
-preferrably seagate
-160gig
-sata2
-P3,500 and below budget
-hope you can give me the best hardisk my budget can accomodate

Bro, u know wat I really would suggest if naa ka kaila na makapurchase sa US pwede sa Newegg.com... Ky ako nagpadala ra mn ko sa US... My HDD is Western Digital 160Gig sata2 7200RPM 16MB ang cache.... And its really fast!!!!... compared to my IDE seagate 7200RPM b4 na brandnew sa PCXpress... Try checking sa Newegg.com look at the customer reviews, basta 16MB ang cache ang pangita-a.... Pero if ganahan jud ko ug VERY AMAZINGLY FAST!!!! U need the Western Digital RAPTOR HDD.. And I have tried it coz my friend has it... And grabe ka pas-pas!!!

Kaso nga lang.. wala na ang 16MB cache na HDD dire sa CEBU coz ive tried asking sa Seagate sa SM wala sila 16MB na cache... I dont know karon basin mahal kaau!!! ky sa ako Western Digital tag $57 ra mn to ako papalit sa US that is 2,679 pesos.. Imagine? Nway suggestion lang gud ni....

ah, so an additional specs i have to look for is the cache size, and you are saying that 16mb is good. mao lagi pud kay nagsulay kog browse sa pcbodega for sata2 hdds.. and ako mga nakit-an ky 2mb raman ang cache. aside from the cache size bro, is there anything else i have to look for?
