Planning of shifting from INTEL to AMD.. need advise.

I'm planning on shifting from INTEL platform to AMD mainly because of price difference concerns, I have been an INTEL fan ever since. So I'm asking anyone here who are more familiar with amd, compared to INTEL ok raba ang AMD? Are there any concerns that I should be aware of, been doing research online but nothing beats first-hand experience from you guys.

I'm planning to buy this once I have enough resources to do so.. ok ra ba ni? Unsay inyong ika-recommend if any?

proc: AMD Trinity A10-5800k 4.2Ghz Black Edition (5400 sa GI)
mobo: FM2 Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 (5800 sa tpc)

things to consider....
mahal2x bitaw ang Intel........pero mas pas2x man sad....
new Intel chips consumes less power compared to AMD's offerings...
unsay purpose for this project?

pero in real world usage, d gyud nimo ma bantayan or ma feel, gawas cguro if mag SSD ka. sus sa benchmarking ra gyud ni mag daug permi, pero sa tinudanay na gamit...mura rag wala..

thanks for the reply guys.. wala man koy specific project in mind. currently my PC is still running in C2D E8400 proc, was looking at upgrading it to i5 or i7 pero mahal2 gyud ang expense. I use my PC mainly for gaming purposes and other common stuff we do..

I will take with consideration if naa moy ika suggest nga build nako. Thanks.

if multi-cored games apps was already mainstream, then amd would have a slight edge.

Mas tipid sa kuryente ang Intel, diha palang naka tipid naka... Ang inig una ray mahal anang Intel... Anhi kas AMD kay barato inig palit pero mas dako ug kuha sa kuryente. Ang palit ka usa ra pero ang gamit sa kuryente ka daghan...

so ang main difference ra gyud is ang consumo sa kuryente?? Is that the main difference between intel and amd? Performance wise I know intel is good..

people tend to exaggerate about the power consumption part but in reality you would barely see the difference depending on the set-ups being compared. Power consumption only becomes a factor if you're building above the hi end category.

if thats the case then you won't be able to take advantage of the apu. I'd suggest getting an fx 4300 instead. Should be cheaper than the trinity set-up and a bit faster.
