    Default Can Mac Air run on Windows OS?


    Please help, im planning to buy a Mac Air 11" and my problem is that it might not run on programs that im using in Windows.

    wow salamat bro.. graphic artist man gud ko then ang recommended nga laptop ky MAC kuno so mao plan ko palit karng saturday but ak problem basin dli cya mu.dagan ug photoshop ba ug illustrator

    recommended but not actually required... its the color profile sa mac ang naka bintahe over PC... and get the MacBook Pro not the Air... our editors and graphics artists including the animator diri sa office are using Windows 7 on alienware....

    dli nmn nako kaya ang macbook pro... laksi naman gani akong bulsa sa mac air... dili na gyud kaya sa budget ang macbook bro... pero nindot unta...

    Sir Cyberzone what it your budget on Macbook pro and can you tell me the spec? and how much is the price at mall that you are buying?

    Bro, Mac OSX will run Windows in it. OSX is very flexible.
    1. You can use Bootcamp which is built-in. With bootcamp you can run windows thru dual booting.
    2. Use virtual machine like Parallels or VMware. I'm using parallels but VMware is cheaper.

    I hardly run windows since I don't like it. I only use parallels just to run Linux Ubuntu and Windows 8 for exploration, not as a primary OS.

    I strongly suggest not to buy a Mac if you just want to run windows almost all the time. It's a waste of money. The main reason I own a Mac is because I love Mac OSX (No way I will go back to windows as my main OS).

    Almost all programs that run on windows also available in Mac version.

    Recommended jud ang Mac sa Graphics Design. Once ma master nimo ang MAC OSX d na jud ka ganahan balik windows.hehehe. IMO!
