Update: I forgot to mention that it also has a lens hood (giving it away for free kay unsaon mani nako if I do sell the 35mm, he he). It's not a Canon though, just an imitation as Canon's lens hoods are very expensive.

Bump up. Sinulog 2013 is over but there's still Otakufest next month. Buy na and shoot photos that will get you oohs and aahs from cosplayers.

Nice lens! I'll save up for this one. Not satisfied with my 50mm 1.8 on a crop sensor.

@Jajarbinx: I'm sure you already know that the 50mm is equivalent to 80mm making it a medium telephoto. The 35mm is equivalent to 56mm, a bit longer than normal. For us Canon users, a 'normal' lens is either Sigma's 30mm f/1.4 (48mm equivalent) or Canon's 28mm f/1.8 (44.8mm).

Sige bai, I hope you can get this lens kay walay gamit diri balay. Ako dyud damgo is 35mm f/1.4 sa Sigma pero mahal mahal pud.

Sakto gyud ka bai. I'm looking for mga lesser than 50mm ang range kay para pang street nako. Kapoy atras with the 50mm. I saw your Flickr page. Ayos gyud iyang kuha. Di pa nako ni mapalit karon kay bakasyon ko Davao, Malaysia ug Iloilo this March. Inig after March puhon (kung available pa ni). Basin by that time, 10k na lang.

@Jajarbinx: I might use this during the OtakuFest on February 16. Wala pa dyud ni nako nagamit like crazy (impulse buy). Sige bai, just visit after March, naa pa guro ni pero I doubt ako inaug price kay keeper lens man ni. Basin diay maka daug ko lotto makapalit nako full frame then kani ang gamiton
