    Default Sata HDD

i just recently bought a Seagate Barracuda SATA.. after installing everything, everytime i turn on my PC, the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE icon appears in my taskbar, and the only hardware in it is my Seagate SATA.. how do i configure my PC so that my PC does not detect my SATA as removable HDD?

i believe it be safely unplugged with that way.

    coz..it's running.

can only safely remove if nothing is accessing any folder of/or disk.

The OS will not allow this hardrive to be turn off even if you want to turn it off, using the task bar safely remove icon. why don't you try it and see what happens. It will never let you try to turn it off. Just leave it, it doesn't matter. It just so happen to be like that coz SATA drives can be hot plugs like flash drives. Did you ever wonder why there is reserve drives in raid array configuration, specially mirroring.

Don't you worry about it, I am using sata since it came out in the market. Don't be bother about it. No harm will be done in your system.
