Synology or QNAP para peace of mind. Low power and easy to administrate. I'm using Synology DS110J but I hope to upgrade to a least a 2-bay in the future. You can also access your NAS from the net (outside your LAN) basta maayo lang pag-configure sa ports sa router nga i-forward towards your NAS. You can even manage these NAS using Android and IOS devices.

...or if you're on a tight budget, get a router with NAS functionality through it's USB or as the previous poster recommended, FREENAS on an low power pc like an Intel Atom pc.

Sa amo office ta bro... nahan unta ko amo files can be accessed remotely by other computers. Then all our files will be saved in a single storage lang sad. I'm looking for ways to save cost than buying a server.. hehehe

Naa na daghan baligya ana karon bro and easy to use ra pud basta basa lng ka sa manual. Wala koy brand ika recommend nimo kay wala pako ka try ug mga NAS, but one thing i'm sure of, naa nay mga control panel aron ma configure nimo.. Mas nindot pud ni gamiton kay less ang power consumption kaysa mag palit paka ug another PC for storage.

Mao gyud. For long term investment, mas maayo gyud ang NAS kay makasave ka og electricity. Mas lower ang power consumption niya compared to PCs with Intel Atom converted to NAS with FreeNAS.

ok man unta ang Map Network Drive but kinhanglan man gud mag on ang PC so which means additional electrical consumption. haven't tried pa ang NAS but probably it's a good investment.
