On April 30, 2012, it was announced that a web series, titled Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn would play on Machinima.com and Halo Waypoint during the weeks leading up to the release for Halo 4.[21] The series will contain five live action shorts, introducing a new character to tie in with the plot of Halo 4.
