Dwight Howard has to add range in his game IF he has to exceed Tim Duncan. Few things to ponder about Tim, in 10 years:
- Tim Duncan turned the Spurs into a contender in his first year stint, from 20-62 in 1996-97 to 56-26 in 1997-98.
- Tim Duncan is a 3-time NBA Champion, 1999, 2003, 2005
- Tim Duncan is the one of the most consistent players ever fundamentally
- Tim Duncan was the 1998 Rookie of the Year
Of course, the Spurs management were able to put solid players around him. Howard still has years to get into that legitimacy though, and the Magic management has to make the right decisions in acquiring players that can compliment him too.
