From the start, I already commented that this won't work. Abot cguro P100b, kulang pa para right of way sa BRT. We just need a MRT and a couple of double decker busses. That's it.

For me mas ok ang SUBWAY kay ang construction sa underground ra. Compare sa taas na pwerti hasola, dakog gasto ug makasamot sa traffic knowing na dugay pa kaayo ni mahuman. Just take note also kung unsa kagubot ang mga wiring sa PLDT ug sa VECO unsaon man lang na? Putlon ug ibalhin..?

If worried sa baha, aw ang architect or civil engineer na bahala ana, na dli masudlan ug Baha...

In some progressive countries like Qatar and Dubai they are using this kind of underground tunneling methods...
Expensive but worth it




As for BRT, OK sya if ang route adto mag-Agian sa SRP or magOpen new roads intended for BRT purposes only.

Gamay ra makuha na space sa road.
Nya ang maintenance dili pareha kamahal sa LRT.
Kung magnihit ug bus pwede pa siguro ibutang ang Ceres diha.

the question really is, if Dino wants to cancel the BRT, how soon can he have the LRT approved with the feasibility study, fundings and all the plans that comes with it? plus the bureaucracy within National Govt & LGUs? Are we going to wait for another 10-15 yrs for the approval?

BRT is 20 yrs in the making, end of 2017 or 2018 pa lang mag start ug construction for phase 1... sa dugay natong pinaabot karon pa intawn sugdan...

so kung e cancel na, then mag huwat ta ug 10-20 yrs for LRT, mag unsa nalang ta mga Cebuano? mag lakaw nalang ta kay for sure mo grabe pa ang traffic sa Metro Cebu in the next couple of years... ok unta to ug naay bike lane kay mag bike nalang ta ug mag scooter ba kaha....

why not let the BRT go thru as planned and work on LRT approved by National Govt/NEDA first? mga 5-10 yrs from now we'd most likely need the LRT due to population boom within Metro Cebu... pra win-win sa mga Cebuanos.. i hope ila huna-hunaon ang mga Cebuanos ug dili ila mga personal interest (like nag andam pra mo humot for next election)...
