that was the concern before. that was like ten years ago. as of now we really need LRT and BRT. both systems compliment each other.
sa LRT i would prefer if fewer stations lang usa just to lessen the cost. lets just say sa usa ka city like sa Lapu2x,Danao,Consolacion,Talisay,Minglanilla,Carca r ug Mandaue duha lang ka station, sa Cebu City mga 5,kanang ingon ana lang. the whenever the need arises punan lang.lets just say, kada two years magpuno ug usa ka station. nice pud baya.

It would also be nice if less stations sa LRT for now. More on going in and out of the city ang use. BRT will then be used to spread out sa passengers to their designated places. For example, if one station sa fuente then BRT from there goes to guada, one to banawa, another to ayala, another to colon and SM and etc etc.

The main reason why we have this traffic problem in Cebu is because the politicians we elect are mainly short-sighted. Walay long term goals and kung naa man gani, walay continuity. And a lot of them are self-serving, way ganahan mo sakripisyo for the greater good. Take a look for example of the Cebu master plan, there was one that exists in the 1990s, where part of it was for the development of a Cebu trans-axial highway ... the one that would traverse throughout the backbone of Cebu, this was during the time of Lito O. when 'ceboom' was the buzzword. Asa man to nga plano ron? It was already highlighted in that master plan, that Cebu's current road infrastructure is not enough if we do not do anything by 2005. Now we are seeing the consequences of not acting on it.

100% agree to @kolz, very well said..... ang govt leaders/politicians jud ang pinka ka main issue...gi explain na ni boss @kolz ang situation sa singapore...ang dakong kalahi.an sa pinas ug sa SG when it comes to politicians k kanang g pang sulte ni @kolz nga wala sa pinas, kana g pang sulte ni kolz(ako g bold) naa na dri sa SG...mao na ang rason kung ngano ang SG ingon ani na krn....

sa pinas mga gi elect nga local(esp. Cebu) politicians way love of country and concern sa ila constituents mao nga mga pinoy ang alaot!!

bisag unsa pana mga regulations, mga plano ug uban pa buhaton sa mga politicians dli japon na ma puslan kung ang leader/politician palpak!!! nyahahah

Wala pa jud ta makita ani...maypa pasuwayon ta nang mga politiko ug sakay sa atong mass transportation for the whole year. All their travels should only use the mass transportation na currently natong gigamit. Gamiton nila padung suroy2x, shopping, hatod-kuha sa mga bata, adto sa trabahuan, adto sa laing2x dapit sa Metro Cebu ug apil ang mga pagbiyahe adto sa mga probinsya. Rain or shine. Para makatilaw na sila sa atong natilawan. Salig lang sila naa sila mga SUV. Kanang mga dako dihag tiyan na politiko...sakay lang para tamiya, soong, or adto lang talamban ug banilad, sa agi-anan pa lang sa multicab, ungot na. Hahaha!!!
