who have tried enucleation (eye removal) procedure of his/her dog??? need ur advice

I was told dat my dogs eye should be remove because na injured iyang cornea n dli na masave thru medication. N f dli tang2x kuyaw sad ma spread ang infection.

I just dnt knw wat really happen 2 his eye bt my doubt is that they had a fight with one of my female dog cause shes on heat last raturday may 19, 2012. When i got home i suddenly notice a white protrusion on his left eye.

On monday, i brought him 2 a vet and was diagnose 2 have eye ulcer n was given eye drops medication. So i follow what da doctor prescribed until pag thursday i notice it became bigger n reddish murag naay unod niwgawas sa center of his eye. So i brought him back sa vet n da doc said it have 2 be remove (enucleation). Na shock n cried so much of da doctors decision.

So my frends told me 2 have a 2nd opinion. So i went 2 another vet on dat same day. N wen da oder doctor saw da protruded corneal his reaction s telling me dat dis s bad. So again he recomend enucleation.

Now, i cant sleep knwing my dogs eve be remove

questiion.

Who have tried this procedure n where did u have it done? Whibh clinic?
Ok ra after operation?
Can u post da pic of ur dog after da procedure?

I really need ur comment bout dis kay either ka sat or monday na ang operation n i still dnt knw what clinic 2 do da procedure.

I have nothing but moral support for you maam. A one eyed dog doesnt make it a lesser dog nor lessen his/her love for you.

@ragingtakyo thankx. Na kuyawan na jud ko. Wil be going 2 doc ging 4 da operation on monday. Hope da procedure is a success.

good news jud kaayo for my duke...

yesterday i was going to doc ging's clinic (3rd vet clinic) for the pre-op medications and lab test. and after seeing duke's eyes she said na there's no need for enucleation. she explained to me clearly and told me that duke dont need any operation... tears of joy after hearing the good news.

duke was given antibacterial drops and it will take long to recover the damage cornea and descemetocele of the eye...
