Should I be worried? Dili man kaayo dako ang wound. Pero na tore ang skin then gipadugo namo last night. Today puwa na ang wound. The wound is like 2 cm long.

regardless kung naa ba rabies ang itoy, you should be worried ayaw gyud kumpyansa. you can get free rabies shots at your barangay health center. also your brother will also need some tetanus shots. ASAP lng mam para maka cgurado mo.

if his wound is red and obviously inflamed it could be a sign of infection. gi lanat imong brother?

SOP jud na i wash ang wound with water ang soap. Nya pa inject dayon na ug anti-tetanus ug anti-rabies.Not all dogs have rabies only those are exposed to the rhabdo virus which can be found on the soil. All you need to do is bring your brother the health center or the hospital. Obeserve the dog for any signs of weakness or malaise.If ever the puppy dies, bring the corpse or the head to the Bureau of Agriculture to be examined for presence of the Rhabdo virus in a the dog's brain.

Nope, healthy ug active man ang dog. He eats well and playful. He's 2 months old. We just bought him yesterday from an istorya member. He's not showing any indications that he is a rabid dog. Healthy man pud iyang parents so as his littermates.

He has complete shots na except sa anti-rabbies.

sa barangay health center lng mam kay dako kaayo inyong ma save. kay kung chong hua mo average cost would be around 18 - 20k vs sa 2.5 - 3k sa atong health center.

I think tetanus shot na and wound cleaning with antibiotics. Pero some doctors would insist being vaccinated for rabies, which will cost anywhere as stated above (18+) depending on weight, kay mao man daw na protocol, maski garas daw. =.)

i agree ani gyud , kung ma paakan mo ug puppy or any dog, not just antibiotics, vaccination gyud for safety....

Have it checked in the hospital. I think kelangan siya hatagan ug anti tetanus, post exposure prophylaxis, and HRIG depending on the severity.
