Position: Technical Writer

Summary Job Description:

Lead technical writer for software development department

-Contract position, working remotely for senior architect

-Document data model

-Write data dictionary

-Create technology wiki

-Documentation of interfaces and APIs

-Involved in creating manuals for end-user, system admin, and support staff

Experience required:

-Technical writing background, preferably in a software development environment

-Broad working knowledge of databases

-Understanding of data model necessary to write clear, concise, and complete documentation

-Knowledge of wiki approach

-Fluency in English, particularly written English

-Experience with using SharePoint in a corporate development environment a plus

-All candidates must submit samples of their technical documentation

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree
