Newbie : Needing Help for Building a PC

Good Morning fellow istoryans, I'm a newbie when it comes to building a PC and I wish to set-up a computer on my own since I'm also an IT student. Basically I prefer a computer that is ideal for adobe photoshop, programming, slight gaming with 3d graphics but I'm definitely confused about some factors to consider but I do read articles with such concern especially the one that is for newbies 101 that was posted here and assimilate some of those information imparted.


CPU: Intel i3-2120 (3.3Ghz, 3MB Cache ) - 4950 (Gaisano Interpace)
MOBO : Asus P8Z68-M Pro DDR3/PCI-E - 6295 (Gaisano Interpace)

These components are already at hand but I'm clueless about the remaining parts in a system unit and I need help about it. Thank you in advance for the help, More Powers Istorya.net and all computer enthusiasts here.

by the way, IMHO, your mobo is overkill for your processor.
since you already have it, thats ok.

So what would be the ideal mobo for that in the first place?, just to be aware next time.

My budget would be 20 - 25k..

based on your needs, you dont need to overclock.
Z68 motherboard chipsets are inclined for overclocking.
since you cant use it full features, thus its overkill.

the "ideal" mobo is a mobo that is compatible in terms of function and chipset type.

what a quote, literally thats why its called a motherboard bec its where all other parts are integrated and that is important. if u like cheap ones, its better u use it for piso/piso.

here at computer hardware we recommend what is rightful for the user and his applications. bsan ang uban nga ga piso/piso diri, they dont settle for cheap mobos

Kung walay plano mo upgrade ug processor/overclock si TS in the future dili na kinahanglan ang z68 mobo, pwede ra cya mag H61 chipset or higher.

Ang Asus P8Z68-M Pro mao ni cya ang usa sa mga lowered price z68 chipset like tawagun ni ug pang performance or gaming, pero kung gusto pa gyud ug more performance and features then adto sa tag 10k above ang price nga pang enthusiast.

Kung ako nimu TS ako ibaligya ang imung i3 dayun palit ug 2500k or wait sa Ivy Bridge then ang palita nga VC kanang Gen 3 para sulit sa imung mobo...

Para nako karon wala nay cheap mobo, mag depende ra dyud sa needs sa user...
