Default :edit: GTX 560 Ti — Help me choose

    Good evening, istoryans!

I'm planning to buy a video card hopefully this april. I need your inputs on which video card brand should I buy.
I'm already eyeing the GTX 560 Ti particularly the Gainward Phantom 1 GB DDR5 version.
Ganahan man gud ko sa iyang looks pero concerned lang ko kung okay ba ang ilang technical support and warranty. Aside from its looks, it's cheaper pod compared to EVGA, ASUS and MSI models based on PCX pricelist (wala lang stock karon).
Okay ba ni ang Gainward GTX 560 Ti or Gainward as a whole, mga bossing?
Or should I just go with EVGA and spend a little more?

BTW, my PSU is just the Silverstone STF50-ES 500 watts. Kaya ra kaha even with this specs (no overclocking):

    Intel Core i7 2600
    Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
2 HDDs - 1TB WD Caviar Green and Seagate Barracuda
Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU Cooler
    8GB GSkill Ripjaws X
    2 Sunbeam Red CCFL
    2 - 120mm Exhaust Fans
    1 - 200mm Intake Fans
USB Devices - WD MyBook, etc.

UPDATE: I guess my choices will now be between EVGA and ASUS or Zotac perhaps. I'm dropping Gainward from the choices.

    Salamat!

Cool Re: EVGA/Gainward/Zotac GTX 560 Ti — Help me choose

Kaya ra kaayo na sa imong PSU imong card

anyhow IMHO, Nindot jud ug Design sa cooling ang Gainward Phantom. they say init daw ang 560 ti sa EVGA even the DS version.

but what really turns me off sa Gainward phantom na 560ti is that red ang PCB. haha

Im using Evga Gtx 460 sc and it hasn't given me any problems, never tried to OC it more. For me masaligan ang products sa EVGA

you've got a point there sa red pcb sa phantom. my first choice was actually evga but i was just attracted to the looks of the phantom cooler and its cheaper price though not that much.

i hope the 560ti prices will go down soon, as the gtx 680 invades town.

I don't this the 560 prices will go down pa anytime soon, unless the 660 Ti arrives then maybe. Get the EVGA, their products are good. Zotac and Gainward is fine raman pod.

    thanks akomao and rainerius.

hoping to hear from gainward/zotac 560 TI users too. it's rare to hear and read reviews for these brands man gud. maayo pod unta naa nay naka sulay magpa-RMA ani nga brands. I know EVGA has good customer support.

Zotac kay premium brand pud na sa gawas so as gainward, li lang jud sikat diri sa pinas bag-o pa man gud nagka-distro. Tan-awa asay mas effective ug cooler. Murag out of the 3 Gainward ra man siguro ang naka custom cooler? Saba ang reference ug init sa akong experience.

Ang Gainward Phantom kita ko ang heatsink naa sa gawas then naa sa sulod ang fans. Murag dual fan siya wala nako ma klaro kay naa sa sulod sa cabinet sa PCX. Stay away from reference coolers, although nindot that it blows air out the case pero saba sad kaayo murag vacuum cleaner.

diba reference cooler ang sa EVGA, boss?
naa pod ko nakit-an sa youtube, i forgot the link, nagreklamo pod to siya sa saba sa iyang Phantom kung naay load. some said that it's caused by the capacitor. probably leaking or loose caps?
