    Default Noob question here.... Is it okay to install 2 kinds of anti virus in a PC?

    My PC is running AVG anti virus, but somehow I'm not quite satisfied with its performance so I installed another kind of antivirus and that's bit defender, so what I'm asking is, is it okay to put 2 kinds of anti virus in one PC, aren't they gonna collide? or something.... Please gimme some advice

    dili na cya advisable. magconflict jud na cla

    parese lang ni imng AVG ug any anti-spy and anti-malware software, and a firewall program para dili ka atakehon

    pwede ra avast antivirus then parese ug zonealarm
    ako i'm quite satisfied with avast alone....dili cya memory hungry

    well ako lang ning opinion ha, pero sulit kaau ang performance sa akng pc, no attacks so far, zero pop-ups, sakpan jud ang trojans

    the on-access scan component of the first one might be redundantly scanned by the second one

    but 1 thing is sure, they\\\'ll only wear out your HD faster

    btw, nice name

    Actually ok ra man na, I actually use 2 antivirus programs Bitdefender and NOD32.. So far wala man nag conflict but make sure your PC has the horsepower.. the consensus on the internet regarding 2 AVs running is quite mixed, some advise it, others don't.. So far the newer versions of antivirus and security programs have little issues with conflict and most of them can be run together, the problem is in the anti-spyware and anti-adware components of some security suites which usually have issues... Otherwise, if antivirus components lang ok ra man.. I've been using this setup for a year na, no problems man, and no viruses have ever slipped into my PC.. But if you want to keep one Bitdefender gyud..

    1st antivirus = uyab

    2nd antivirus = kabit

    uyab + kabit = bogno

    though pwede ni;

    masinabtanon nga uyab + bootan nga kabit = okay lang
