Online US retailer J&R have jumped the gun on an unannounced Ivy Bridge-equipped Samsung notebook reminiscent by design of the company's Series 7 Chronos range, with a listing already on its website sharing out a good deal of detail on the upcoming model.
With a model name of NP700Z7C-S01US Nike, this is a large notebook with a 17.3-inch sized (1366x76 LED-backlit display (err, Samsung, this is a 17.3-inch notebook...) and as mentioned, it runs one of Intel's upcoming 22nm Ivy Bridge processors; namely the 2.3 GHz Core i7-3615QM.
The notebook depends on Intel HD 4000 graphics and has 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD assisted by 8GB of NAND Express Cache, DVD writer, multi-card reader, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and an 8-cell battery.
We're not yet sure where the 'Nike' nickname comes into play here - perhaps a succeeding series to the current Chronos lineup.J&R lists the NP700Z7C-S01US at US $1,499.99 with availability marked as 'Coming Soon'.Source: Laptoping
