Electric Bill and Water Bill Exaggerated!!! Fraud or just over consumption?

Hey!
Im new in renting a condo and new with these bills. I don't have a clue if the charges my landlady is giving me. Im actually doubting the authenticity of it. I live in a condo near mandaue. Im a student at a university here and 4 of us are sharing the expenses.

We have a:
-computer
-small fridge (knee size)
- 1/2 hp aircon used averagely from 9pm-6am
-washing machine only used once a week (1 person uses this lang)
-electric fan

Our water usage in summary :

Morning baths and evening baths (some of us don't even take a bath every night.)
Washing clothes (only 1 person uses this)

Our current Electric bill rised up to ---- 3.5k
And our water bill is--------------------- 1k O___O


Our front desk said that they charge us in electricity bill according to the COMMERCIAL PRICE not the residential which explains the electric bill but the fishy thing is the water bill. there was even a month where it reached 1.5k!!We use the same water as you guys (MCW) but I dont get it why my friend normally pays only 300 pesos for the water.


are there records in the Water company so I can verify if the amount I'm paying is in accordance of the price they are asking me? And if so, where is this water Company Located? Thanks istoryans!

First of all you need to know unsay set-up sa patubig dinha. If your condo unit has a direct account with the water company, or maybe there is only one main meter (as the mother meter) in the entire condo bldg and the condo admin are just making their own computation into each unit's water usage. If the latter is true, then you need to ask them how they came up with the computation, and also ask for a copy of their recent bill on the mother account.. E check dayon bai kung fair ba ang pag compute nila. It would also help kung naa ka idea how much your neighbors are paying..

kanang 1k para tubig is harapharapan nga tulis. basin ang iyang pag calculate ana kay 300 per person (which is already more than you can consume, bisan pato dili ka hurot ug balig 300 nga tubig cada bulan) times 4 (kung pila mo ka buok) nya gi round off lang.

as for electricity, there are times nga using a 1/2 horsepower is more energy inefficent than using a 3/4, depende ra gyud sa kwarto. pwede man gud nga mag lugos ug pa bugnaw ang 1/2 horsepower mao nang mag sige ug cool, dili na maka fan lang usahay wherein makapahulay ang compressor whereas ang 3/4 horsepower kay mas maka relax ang compressor kay mas maka bugnaw man cya.

TS ang akong setup sa amoa sa haus 2 computers (20 hours of usage a day), 1/2hp aircon tv and ref nga twice ka dako sa knee high, murag shoulder high na, . more or less akong electric bill for a month is 3.8k.

among water consumption for a month is 1.5k pero 15 persons mi nga nag gamit sa tubig. MCWD among water provider.

you do the math... kay bugo kaayo kog math...
