    navigate your way through here

    "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc"

and look for the file "hosts"
    opened in notepad then edit
    for example like this:

    127.0.0.1 http://www.youtube.com/

that way youtube is blocked. so on and so forth
if you will add more sites to block...

no. 127.0.0.1 or sometimes called localhost is the ip address used for loopback network connection. kung mu access ka 127.0.0.1, mu-loopback na siya balik sa imong pc.

or in short, 127.0.0.1 is you.

Bro. e ping ang website para imong makita ang IP address. Do you know how to ping a site?

    1. click Start > Run
    2. type cmd and press enter
    3. in the command prompt type "ping www.yahoo.com" (without quotes) mohatag na sa IP address.

    I agree with el_jiggo.

There's another way of blocking a website(s) in just one setting. YOU MAY USE A LINUX BOX AS YOUR FIREWALL. Advantage side of this is you are centrally managing the entire network, where, which, what particular station(s) you what to access/block to a specific website. You can also specify ports like you want to block FTP, SMTP, and even P2P network access to a particular station(s).
