Samtang gituohan na ang nakaingon sa flashflood sa Cagayan de Oro City hayan dala sa naguba nga dams sa ibabaw nga bahin sa sapa.

Si Science and Technology Secretary Mario Montejo niingon nga ang flashflood di lang dala sa kusog kaayong uwan nga nibundak sa watershed sa mga sapa kon di naglakip na sa pagkahugno sa smad sa ibabaw nga bahin sa mga sapa.

Sa pagkakaron, ang gikatahong pagkahugno sa tulo ka mga dam gisusi na human momando si Presidente Aquino.

Kato sad bagyo Ondoy sa Manila, dili hinuon to DAM failure pero nag release sad sila og tubig (500 cubic meters per second) for 2 days... ge samotan pa kay bagyo. if naguba to ang DAM. mas daghan namatay ato.

when we where cruising inside a bus we noticed how wide the river was and even noticed some portions there where dikes
or breakers and we couldn't help but discuss and comment "hala lapara sa sapa ui ka kuyaw ani sa baha ui naa pa gyud mga daghan nag puyo"

naka recall lang mi after that tragic just a couple of days after that incident.

naa naman diay warning ana naa pa gani nag himo ug model based on actual and present details sa river that time and the projected possible areas submerged in case of an overflow, let alone, a flood.

And response ra pud sa mga local officials is "alarmist" ra kuno kaayo ang projected or calculated nga outcome.

Even Cebu daw is not safe and its just a matter of time

And dako gyud kaayo ang impact sa climate change nga sa tanan mura bali wala lang...kay pwede ra madala ug prayers

or somewhere pud in elevated areas or sa sorrounding bukid2x duol sa cagayan a wide spread soil erosion occured due to torrential rain though if kana lang usa ka portion or part sa bukid ni erode or gamay ra nga landslide to cause or call for alarm that resulted grounded rainwater to give way down hill and if mag dungan2x na daghan kaayo nga"gamay" nga landslide then you do the math nalang

yes. did2 sah mindanao ang mga sandbars gipamuy-an gyud.. mga villa pa style kay duol ug water gud.. diri sad sah cebu ang problema is along guadalupe river.. naa daghan namuyo ubos sah creek whole sitios gyud nag lumbay even sah talisay.

esp. tanawa ang bukid sa Cebu pwerting upawa nag gyud
samot na I'm from Talisay where I grew up and our house there and not even more than kilometer away from the banks of Mananga River.

wood logs or timber from trees bro maoy dakong factor sa flood and main cause gyud is grabe ang volume sa tubig ni sendong nga murag undoy sad ba. so kung naanod ang mga timber or wood logs naay point nga sila mag bara kung matigum ang kadaghan, dayon if mo collapes tungod sa kakusog sa current sa tubig aw mo overflow gyud sa mga villages nga daghang balay. ako nakasuroy man ko diha cdo before ug mismo gyud sa cagayan river, naabot pud ko diha sa Baungon Bukidnon nga sumpay sa source sa tubig. grabe na gyud kaayo ka umaw ang yuta and daghang sad logging diha...so kung naay dakong volume sa tubig gikan sa ulang, dakong erosion ang mahitabo..
