I don't know stores that retail it here, but it's available in the US. I got mine free from ABIT, (correct me if I'm wrong) it's not gonna give you any performance boost over IDE.Originally Posted by dstink

The advantage is, if you have more IDE Drives than your Mobo supports, you could use it to interface your IDE Drive to your sata input..![]()

hehehe careful with those words. SATA is still an IDE device, its their interface and data transfer rate that they differ.
@dstink: there is a "converter" that your SATA device would be connected to a PATA interface or the other way around. like everybody said, try checking it out at CD-R King or you can get one from TipidPC (Manila).
