True. Labels are powerful tools. Had this thread been named "Tambay ta diri mga gays", I would have easily skipped this and read the next few titles. But since TS titled it "Straight Natured Gay Men, it left one to ponder and so here I am and surely everyone else who frequent this thread can relate.
I guess then that it's not the labels that we should antagonize. It's really up to an individual's disposition towards a label whether to associate it as good or bad. Years back, I would still have clung to the notion that a gay guy is a cross-dressing loud effeminate individual as that is what was ingrained in my mind by society. But having learned a few more things overtime, my attitude towards the label "gay" has changed.
I somehow agree with Mr. Simple. Sexuality seems like a downstream flow. Just like our experience, we can't undo things, we can't take back words we regret saying. We can only move on and hope we make better decisions onwards. Mas simplified lang iyang phrase. Mr. Simple gyud. hehe
