The Presidential Commission on Good Government Thursday confirmed efforts to recover alleged ill-gotten wealth discovered in Germany and the United States worth almost a trillion dollars.

PCGG Chairman Camilo Sabio, in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN's Alvin Elchico, said that former Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos owned bank accounts in Germany worth a staggering 50 trillion pesos.

Hopefully, we can fully recover this ill gotten wealth so that this will be given back to the people who are victims of Marcos dictatorship. More so, we can pay off our foreign debts if we can get this much of hidden wealth.

PCGG should prove that it is doing its duty to recover the ill gotten wealth of the Marcoses for the people. More importantly, the voters should be wary to vote any Marcoses in public office again.
